Arab League hails Brazil
Those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the League of Arab States see South America as important to the Arab world, it has been reported.
According to the Brazil Arab News Agency, the league’s secretary general Amr Mussa claims relations between Latin America and the Arab countries has made a "quality leap" over the course of recent years.
Mr Mussa added the Brazilian economy is showing an "excellent performance lately" and the League regards the nation’s performance with "great admiration".
"Brazil is finally realising its huge potential and becoming a true regional power. Therefore, Brazil can and certainly is contributing in an important manner to the establishment of closer ties [with Arab nations]," he continued.
In other news which might be of interest to Brazilian property investors, it was reported this week by the Brazzil Magazine that TAM will begin to fly directly from Rio de Janeiro to Miami and New York.
