Arab investors are looking for Brazilian opportunities
An Arab bank is looking for investment opportunities in Brazil, it has been reported.
Those considering buying property in Brazil might be interested to hear that investment bank Makaseb wants to invest in business opportunities in the Latin American county.
ANBA reports that the institution wants to invest in the building sector where it plans to establish a partnership with a construction company from the Emirates.
Chief executive of Makaseb Holding, Ahmed El Helw told the news provider that he wants to bring funds to Brazil to invest in existing opportunities and hopefully attract a greater number of investors to the country.
"The reason for our trip here is to make a bridge between opportunities for know-how transfer and investment," he added.
Meanwhile, in other news that may be of interest to those considering buying property in Brazil, the nation’s construction industry should grow by a tenth this year, according to an industry body.
Latest research carried out on behalf of the Union of the Civil Construction Industry predicted the growth.
