Brazil attracts ‘younger investors’
Brazil is attracting younger property investors, marking it out as a "hip" new place for investment, say industry experts.
Samantha Gore, head of sales and marketing for Brazilian property experts uv10, said: "We have first-hand proof that Brazil is definitely attracting younger buyers and, in fact, amongst hip twenty and thirty-somethings.
"Emerging property markets such as Brazil which offer very high yields are fast becoming the ‘pensions of the 21st century’."
She added that Brazil has benefited from this trend due to its "trendy towns" such as Pipa close to Natal, which appeals to the young for its property prices, nightlife and sporting activities.
Visitors to Pipa can take part in sporting activities including dune buggy rides and kite-surfing as well as enjoy year-round sunshine.
A recent study conducted by Datamonitor for Overseas Property Professional magazine found that younger buyers are increasingly looking to emerging market such as Brazil.
Furthermore, independent property advisors at BuyAssociation said at the beginning of this year that Brazil is undergoing a "property boom" noting that prices in the country are often "under-valued".
