Brazil economy ‘growing fast’
The Brazilian economy has grown "so much and so fast" according to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, it has been reported.

Speaking while on the campaign trail with his Workers Party candidate for the mayor of Sao Paulo, Lula said he was the man to take the country forward.
Richard Guedes, chief executive officer of analysts Istituto Sensus, told the news agency President Lula’s popularity was down to his social programmes and the good performance of the economy.
"Lula has achieved the highest popularity ratings of a Brazilian president since we began with opinion polls in 1998," he added.
Meanwhile, in other news which could be of interest to those considering Brazilian property it was reported by the Brazil Arab News Agency last week that more than 35,000 visitors were expected to attend an oil industry conference in Rio.
