Brazil hosts international events
Brazil promotes more international events than any other Latin American nation, it is being claimed.
The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) revealed the country is second to only the US across the whole of the Americas, it has been reported by the Brazzil Magazine.
People considering buying property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the nation is eighth in the overall global rankings for international event hosting with 209 events.
The report adds that the nation’s tourism institute Embratur shared its experience in the support of events during an industry conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Embratur’s director Marcelo Pedrosa told the publication: "The Associations plan to elaborate a joint work plan. This will be an important step for Latin America to be integrated and to occupy more space on the global scenery."
Meanwhile, the institute recently suggested the number of tourists visiting the nation over the course of the past three years has reached five million.
