Brazil leads the way in IT outsourcing
Brazil has been tipped as a key location for IT outsourcing over the next three years.
Following on from record revenues in its agriculture, paint and poultry industries Brazil has now emerged as the dominant market in Latin America for IT.
According to a report entitled "Brazil IT and Outsourcing Industry Forecast to 2011" published by a "leading market research firm" Brazil now accounts for one in every two dollars spent on IT products and services in the region.
"By providing customised solutions and contracts that precisely meet the clients’ requirements, Brazilian outsourcing providers can gain tremendously," commented a senior research analyst at RNCOS, which compiled the report.
He added that the report also cited "other opportunities" for the Brazilian service providers.
Economic growth in Brazil could be good news for those considering investing in the country’s property market.
This week a property analyst told a national British newspaper that real estate prices in the emerging market have experienced "stratospheric" growth over the past couple of years, predicting further growth in the future.
