Brazil promoted in Madrid
Brazilian property could benefit from a recent promotional campaign run during one of the world’s largest music festivals in Madrid.
Embratur – Brazil’s tourism board – showcased the nation as a top tourist destination during the Rock in Rio Madrid festival.
The campaign ran over two weekends on June 27th to 28th and July 4th to 6th offering those in attendance a chance to learn more about Brazil.
It included a giant wheel the size of a 12-storey building installed at the Rock City.
A number of free gifts including eco-bags and keyrings were handed out during the festival.
July’s Rock in Rio festival took place in Madrid’s Arganda del Rey and featured performances from the likes of The Police, Lenny Kravitz, Franz Ferdinand and Tiesto.
During the June event, Neil Young, Jack Johnson and Alanis Morrisette were among the line-up.
Meanwhile, earlier in the month fast food franchise Mister Sheik announced it was expanding its Arabic food empire to the Latin American nation.
