Brazil has topped a list as the country with the most mobile phone users in the Latin American region, it has been reported.
People considering buying property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the news which suggests the nation’s middle class continues to thrive.
Statistics released by Everis revealed the global number of cellular phone users has grown by an annual average of 23.6 per cent over the course of the past eight years, according to Brazzil Magazine.
The report noted that almost half of mobile phones are owned by people living in Brazil, Germany, US, India, Indonesia, Japan, Russia and Pakistan.
"In absolute terms the country with most cellular services is Brazil, 143.2 million," the publication stated.
Meanwhile, the publication reported this week that businesses in Brazil are calling for a foreign trade policy that will enable them to be more competitive.
The business leaders made the call at the Foreign Trade Association’s 28th Foreign Trade Meeting.
