Brazil tourism body to attend Chinese fair
A tourist body from Brazil is to showcase the best the country has to offer at a conference in Shanghai.
The Brazilian Tourism Institute is to pay a visit to the China Travel Mart to let people know about the activities and destinations available in the Latin American country, Brazilian property investors may be interested to hear, reports Macauhub.com.
It is thought to be an important market, since 23,490 Chinese people visited Brazil in 2007, 44 per cent more than in 2004.
Meanwhile, at the Overseas Property Professional Live Exhibition currently taking place in London, Brazil’s tourism ministry spokesperson Felipe Cavalcante has recommended Brazil as an excellent place to invest in property.
"Even with this world crisis, Brazil is a safe country to invest, because it has a sound economy. The crisis did not affect the Brazilian real estate market," he remarked.
