Brazilian property buyers ‘favour individuality’

Brazilian properties are looking for attention to detail in the design of a building when it comes choosing what to buy, according to an expert.

Vibecke Lykke Olsen, co-founder of Brazilian property developer ViaMar Groupo, explains that when creating the Pipa Beleza Spa Resort, the team went for a "boutique" feel.

They wanted to give the properties individuality to satisfy the desires of Brazil real estate investors, she says.

This does not just apply to the properties themselves, but also to the surrounding areas and on-site facilities.

"We’re really paying attention to creating a really nice green area so there’s a lot more detail," Ms Olsen explains, highlighting the speakers which will play Bossa Nova music around the communal pool.

The resort, which was developed by the Norwegian team of Marianne Beck, Emma Bjorke and Ms Olsen along with local project manager Adriana Alves and Brazil property specialist uv10’s Samantha Gore, also includes an Ocean Club Spa with Balinese baths, massage treatments, yoga and Pilates classes.
