Brazilian property in Ouro Preto given glowing reference
People looking for Brazilian property should visit Ouro Preto as it is one of the country’s best preserved colonial cities, according to an expert.
Andy Hayes, writing for the IBTimes, picked out a number of places to visit for people looking at Brazilian property investment.
In recommending Ouro Preto, Mr Hayes said that there are many historical buildings to go and see, with at least ten churches, no shortage of museums and the Teatro Municipal, which is the oldest functioning theatre in South America.
People investing in Brazilian property in Ouro Preto will also be able to head to the Itacolomi National Park for some hiking, with the "rock and the boy" being a famous geographical formation which should be visited.
Set on the east coast of the country, Ouro Preto was the focal point of the Brazilian gold rush in the 18th century, with many bridges and fountains remaining as a testimony to its past prosperity.
