Brazilian property sellers most confident in Americas
People selling Brazilian property are more confident than many other countries in the Americas, a new poll has shown.
The quarter four 2009 Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors’ (Rics’) global commercial property survey showed that estate agents in Latin America are more confident that other nations, including Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru and Chile.
Those selling Brazilian property led the way, with the net balance of estate agents seeing a rise in transactions increasing from 29 per cent to 61 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2009.
Rodrigo Abbud, member of Rics from Equity Capital in Sao Paulo, said: "Investors are always seeking good opportunities in Brazil.
"For 2010, the market has started hot. Tenants and investors are looking at projects under construction."
Recently, Glauco Chris Fuzinatto, director for UK and Ireland for the Brazilian Tourist Office, said that Brazilian property is an up-and-coming opportunity for investment, with the economy being the strongest ever.
