Brazilian property ’still offers investment dreams’
People wanting to invest in a home overseas should not be put off by the recession, according to a new report.
A study by Shelter Offshore said that those who are keen on buying property in Brazil can still afford to do this and enjoy a "fantastic, sun-soaked lifestyle", despite the recent economic downturn.
"You just have to be aware that the pound is not as strong as it once was, and whilst it may well one day bounce back, you cannot depend on it doing so, you have to secure your lifestyle at today’s exchange rate and prices," the guide stated.
Furthermore, people planning on investing in Brazilian property have been backed up by the report, which advised people to shy away from housing in the euro or dollar zones.
One area which Brazilian property investors should look at is Paraty, according to Andy Hayes, who recommended the town to IBTimes recently.
