Brazilian property to benefit as number of searches increase
The number of people looking to invest in Brazilian property could be set to rise, with positive search figures being reported by an industry expert.
Data from Primelocation.com’s International Market Review 2010 showed that searches for international property have increased by 134 per cent in the 12 months from January 2009.
Since Christmas, the number of people looking at holiday homes, such as property in Brazil, has risen by 25 per cent.
Ann Wright, international development manager at Primelocation.com, said: "The upsurge in interest in international property shows no sign of abating: January is the third consecutive month to have recorded an annual increase in searches of more than 100 per cent."
Adam Samuel, director at investment advisor Nubricks.com, said that a lot more people are now looking at what is available abroad and considering where best to spend their money, although he did express caution over whether the industry has fully recovered from the recession yet.
