Brazil’s beaches receive praise

Brazil’s beaches have recently garnered praise, with one news provider commenting that there are thousands of "astonishing" locations across the nation’s coastlines.

Writing for the Metro World News, reporter Bruno Ghetti suggests that some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil include Pontal do Atalaia in Arraial do Cabo, Canoa Quebrada in Ceara state and Praia da Princesa, Ilha do Algodoal in Para state.

These areas may prove popular with people looking to buy property in Brazil.

He notes that Pontal do Atalaia boasts clear waters, white sands and fabulous views, all while retaining a "cosy" atmosphere, while Canoa Quebrada is praised for its deep seas and sunny weather.

My Ghetti also states that the resort is one of "peace and pleasure", having being found by hippies before becoming a popular tourist resort.

Finally, he adds that Praia da Princesa is unknown to many people due to its remote location, but offers "fabulous swimming" and boating.

Meanwhile, figures from Brazil’s Institute of Tourism show that the number of visitors to the nation has increased by 20 per cent between January and September compared to the same period in 2007, reports online news provider Xinhuanet.
