Brazil’s labour market ‘is diverse’
The Brazilian labour market is showing an improved dynamism, according to new figures commissioned by the Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae).
In what could be good news for Brazilian property, three quarters of the nation’s 2.2 million employers are based inland which suggests the nation’s labour market is diverse, Brazzil Mag reports.
Small businesses headquartered outside the capitals and large cities now account for 64 per cent of jobs in the country.
Juarez de Paula, manager of Sebrae’s agribusiness unit, said: "We export most of the agricultural products, such as meats, orange, soybean, coffee, sugar and alcohol. This translates into greater productivity and demand for services, especially in the post-production phases."
The nation is seeing an example of active economies in Mato Grosso and Piaui, west of Bahia, he added.
Meanwhile, those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the nation is expecting a booming harvest this year, according to the country’s Geography and Statistics Institute.
