Brazil’s new airline ‘to be a success’
Brazil’s newest airline will be successful and could open up the country’s aviation market, according to an industry expert.
Former airline executive, Bobby Booth has paid tribute to David Neeleman – the man behind Brazil’s as yet unnamed low-cost airline – saying that the outlook is excellent for the Latin American nation’s air travel.
People considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear that Mr Booth predicts the airline will expand the regional market and possibly begin serving neighbouring countries which could lure more visitors to the country.
Neeleman has said he is going to make the market much more affordable as it currently overpriced according to the founder of US airline JetBlue.
According to Mr Booth, who is the chairman of Avgroup, the outlook for the market is "excellent" due to Neeleman’s decision to introduce a domestic operation linking "all markets" in Brazil.
"Many of which do not have [a] non-stop air service, and he plans to serve all of them with a low cost, superior product," he told the Inter American Dialogue.
