Brits ‘favour long-haul destinations’
British holidaymakers are taking an increasing number of long-haul flights, according to new reports.
Travellers wishing to visit far-off tropical climates, such as Brazil, are undeterred by lengthy flight times, instead prioritising to reach their ideal locations, reveals a study by TravelMole.
Highlighting the continued appeal of foreign travel to Britons, the study also demonstrates that countries further afield were best sellers for outbound tour operators this year.
Independent analysts Amberlamb have backed-up this research, confirming earlier this month that more holidaymakers are choosing to visit Brazil, which has led some to consider it a viable option for a property investment.
Property prices in Brazil have increased by 20 per cent in the last five years alone, with some areas in the north-east of the country exceeding this rise – indicating that investments may offer high returns in the not-so-distance future.
Expert researchers for the UK-based Property Investor and Homebuyer Show this year have tipped Brazil as an emerging country poised on the verge of a property boom.
