Copa Airlines announces fourth destination in Brazil
Copa Airlines has announced that it will be offering a new route, connecting cities in Panama to Belo Horizonte, the third largest city in Brazil.
Beginning at the end of August this year, the flight route will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 18:48 local time.
It is the airline’s fourth destination in Brazil, with the others being located in Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo and Manaus.
With the new flight route it is hoped there will be increased tourism, which could be good news for people with property in Brazil.
This new flight to Belo Horizonte strengthens our position as the best travel option in Latin America," said Pedro Heilbron, chief executive officer, Copa Airlines.
"We continue to expand our extensive route network and reaffirm our commitment to the development of business and tourism in Latin America and the rest of the American continent."
Meanwhile, according to the Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch, the restrictions limiting the number of people travelling between the US and Brazil has been lifted.
