Embraer meets with international airlines
Embraer has brought together customers and suppliers of its aircraft at an event in Perth, Australia, this week.
Following the Brasil Workshop 2007 in Melbourne where 250 travel and tourism delegates convened this week, the Embraer Operators Conference was held for 120 Brasilia aircraft operators.
The event was intended to represent the company’s commitment to "maintaining the same level of support for all of its customers, whatever the product or region of the world".
Orlando José Ferreira Neto, managing director of Embraer Asia and Pacific, said: "We’re very happy about the event’s success and its main outcomes. Important technical and operational subjects were properly addressed and aligned.
"The conference proved, once again, to be an excellent opportunity for professional networking among customers, suppliers, government authorities and Embraer personnel."
Six Australian airlines were present at the event, representing a cumulative fleet of 23 Embraer Brasilia aircraft.
Members of the Australian government’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Transport Safety Bureau also joined delegates at the event.
Embraer has had a fruitful month after receiving more than 60 orders for its aircraft at the Dubai Air Show earlier in November.
