Expert: Get into Brazilian property as early as possible
People interested in buying a second home or a holiday retreat should invest in Brazilian property as early as is possible, according to an expert.
A report by housing firm Obelisk advised that prices, along with investment value, are always lower at the start of a property boom, so it makes perfect sense to investigate the Brazilian real estate market now.
"Prices for property in Brazil are still way below European equivalents, but as the word gets out on Brazil, this may not be the case for much longer," it stated.
The report also pointed to figures from Brazilian property builder Cyrela, which showed that from quarter four 2008 to the same point last year, the value of properties in the South American country had increased by 156.2 per cent.
Recently, Charles Davies, writing for the Metro Edmonton, said that Brazilian properties could have "great profitability" in the future, rewarding people that invest now.
