Food show hoping to attract investment
A trade food show is being held in the north-east of the country which hopes to attract foreign companies.
The event will be held from November 4th to 7th this year in the state of Pernambuco, with the organisers hoping it will boost the number of companies wanting to invest in the area, reports Brazzil Magazine.
Research from Brazil Trade Shows has found the region has attracted over 2,500 businesses in the sector, fuelling hopes the event will be a success and providing good news for those considering Brazilian property.
A pizza contest will be held, with finalists participating from other regions in the country to showcase trends in preparations.
The website reports that alongside the festival a gourmet show will be held, which will see people cooking cuisines from across the world.
Last year the event attracted over 26,000 visitors and saw 350 companies displaying at it, generating 800 million reais (£258 million).
It was recently revealed by ANBA that dairy exports in Brazil have reached a record level, according to government forecasts.
