Investment in Brazilian property ’still a good option’
The Brazilian property market remains as good an investment opportunity as it was a year ago, according to an expert.
Liam Bailey, reporting for Write About Property, says: "Buying properties in emerging markets at low prices is, in my opinion, an investment that cannot fail."
He asserts that off-plan property in Brazil remains a great opportunity and will be for at least a generation.
Mr Bailey suggests that the only thing that has changed is the availability of finance to purchase real estate in Brazil.
He says the price of overseas property has always been a large part of its appeal and that as emerging markets become fully developed economies, real estate will grow massively in value.
Mr Bailey adds that the expectation that these countries will largely avoid recession also recommends them to buyers.
Samantha Gore, sales director for uv10.com, recently recommended Pipa in north-east Brazil for investors as it has a popular existing rental market.
