Matthew McConaughey praises Brazil
Matthew McConaughey has praised Brazil and says he intends to return, Brazilian property investors may be interested to learn.
The actor writes in his blog that he "found a very proud and happy culture there" and says "I will return, beautiful country, beautiful and classy people…thanks Brazil…cool".
Fool’s Gold star Matthew was visiting girlfriend Camilla Alves’ relatives, who he says "tolerated my stumbling through the Portugese language".
The pair have recently become parents; Camilla gave birth to son Levi Alves McConaughey five months ago.
Matthew is taking a break from his career to spend some quality time with his new family, before his new film The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is released next year.
In his blog he describes his travels to Baja with his friend Gus and recounts breaking down in the middle of the desert, where he was saved by an 82-year-old Mexican woman who loaned them her truck.
He spent his 39th birthday "on the southern rim of the Grand Canyon", he adds.
