More flights to Brazil
Brazilian property is set to be boosted by a further expansion of flights between Brazil and the United Arab Emirates, it has been reported.
A renegotiation forecasts 28 new passenger flights and 21 new freight flights could operate between the two nations every week doubling the original agreement of 14, according to the ANBA.
Government representatives from both countries met in Rio de Janeiro last week to thrash out the deal.
Sidney Alves Costa, an advisor who took part in the talks, told the news agency of the details and said the new authorisations will be implemented gradually with eight passenger flights being permitted straight away, another eight next April, followed by another six in October 2009 and the last six in April 2010.
Meanwhile, it was reported by Brazzil Magazine last month that the nation is attracting the attention of foreign investors as it becomes one of the world’s main expansion hubs.
