Natal ‘offers a warm Xmas’
Brazilian property hotspot Natal offers investors an alternative and affordable Christmas holiday property market compared to ski-resort properties, it has been claimed.
Easier property noted that the city’s name means Christmas in Portuguese, yet it is suspended in a perpetual summer.
The report stated that the city’s shopping centres are garnished with the traditional festive lights and decorations common in the UK yet the temperature is 26 degrees Celsius compared to London’s seven degrees Celsius.
"If you fancy treating yourself to the real deal this Christmas why not consider a beachfront home on one of the prized beaches just 80km south of Natal," the website said.
Meanwhile, Brazzil Magazine reported this week that the nation’s hotel industry has been largely unaffected by the global financial crisis.
The Brazilian Hotel Industry Association claimed the sector has not suffered from any cancellations as a result from the economic downturn and predicts the industry will continue to take off thanks to the 2014 World Cup.
