New golfing resort to open in Brazil
A new golfing resort, that may attract fans of the sport to buy property in the country, has been granted planning permission in Brazil.
The golfing resort will be located in Belmonte and building work is expected to reach completion in 18 months time.
Global leisure club chain, David Lloyd, has been signed-up to manage the resort, indicating the level of international interest and investment Brazil is currently attracting.
David Lloyd has 800,000 members, who will receive information about golfing opportunities at the Brazilian resort, providing the nation with international exposure.
Belmonte features a "magnificent" stretch of coastline, which starts at Santa Cruz Cabralia and continues along to the boundary between the Bahia and Espirito Santa states.
The coastal city has its own airport meaning that those considering property investment in the region could access their real estate by air.
Earlier this week Brazil’s premium airline VRG announced that it will begin operating an additional flight from Sao Paulo to Madrid this spring.
It will be the airline’s tenth international route and the expansion is part of VRG’s plan to reach out to a wider market.
