Number of millionaires in Brazil ‘booms’
There has been a boom in the number of millionaires living in Brazil, it has been claimed.
According to Reuters, there has been a "burst" of economic growth in the nation, which lifted many out of poverty and made some people very wealthy, while a stock market that has tripled in four years benefited some people.
It adds that more millionaires came out of Brazil last year than every other nation except India and China, according to Merrill Lynch and Capgemini’s latest wealth report, with the number of Brazilians worth over $1 million growing by 19.1 per cent to 143,000.
The news provider also states that the number of billionaires in the nation is on the up.
This growth in wealth could be good for people who have property investments in Brazil.
It was recently reported that Salaheddine Al-Bashir, the foreign minister of Jordan, had deemed Brazil to be success story in terms of its economy.
