Olympic Games is ‘driving interest in Brazilian property’
Brazilian property is standing out for property investors thanks to the fact that the country is set to host the Olympic Games in 2016.
Glauco Chris Fuzinatto, director of UK and Ireland for the Brazilian Tourist Office, said that with the country being the fifth biggest in the world, there is plenty of room for development and accommodating a lot more people.
"Brazil is quite a good destination because it caters for everything from backpackers to luxury travel, from gay travel to ecotourism and culture. Brazil caters for everything and does quite a lot more," he added.
Mr Fuzinatto added that the Iguassu Falls in the south of the country are attracting a lot of people to invest in Brazilian property as it is in contention to become one of the new seven natural wonders of the world.
In a recent report by Companies and Markets, it found that the awarding of the 2016 Olympics to Rio de Janeiro would boost the Brazilian property market as the country would start to realise its enormous tourism potential.
