Property in north-east Brazil ‘very affordable’
Property in Brazil is "very affordable", according to research by A Place in the Sun magazine.
The research has revealed that many states in the north-east of Brazil, such as Ceara, Rio Grande de Norte, Bahia, Paraiba and Pernambco all offer investors good returns.
Richard Way, editor of the magazine, said that all the areas have a virgin coastline but are still "very affordable".
Research from BuyAssociation has also revealed that Brazil is attracting investors, retirees and those looking for holiday homes.
Factors attracting people to invest in property in Brazil include the diverse landscape, low property prices and the large number of new-build properties.
Plots of land in Brazil are often undervalued and some plots can cost just £5 per square metre, with plots in a more established development will cost around £2,000.
A Place in the Sun magazine offers those wishing to purchase property in Brazil a number of case studies, viewing trips and buyer’s guides.
