Property investors buying now ‘will reap dividends’
Foreign property investors that buy very low today will reap the dividends, one property advisor has said.
Amberlamb revealed that savvy real estate investors who have the cash can clean up certain property markets.
Those buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear that some sellers may become more desperate to off-load stock due to the current financial climate and they may be able to cash in due to other buyers being restricted by the credit crunch.
Rhiannon Davies, director of Amberlamb, said: "Those who buy in very low today and cash in on the financial crisis will reap the dividends over the long term."
"Those who have got the cash to move will clean up in certain property markets where sellers become more and more desperate to off load stock."
According to the Association of International Property Professionals’ (AIPP) International Property Market Report 2007, around a third (30 to 35 per cent) of the money spent on overseas property is in emerging markets and the prices in many of these destinations, as an average, are lower than the established markets.
