TAM launches Madrid flight
European access to Brazil has been made easier this week as TAM has launched a new flight service.
The Brazilian airline is now operating a daily service between the Spanish capital Madrid and Sao Paulo.
A modern Airbus A330 will operate the route providing executive and economy class seats.
Flights will depart from Guarulhos International Airport at 8 pm local time in Sao Paulo and arrive in Madrid at 8:35 local time.
The return trip will take off from Madrid at 10:55 am local time landing in the Brazilian city at 6:35 local time.
Madrid is the fifth destination TAM now flies to in Europe, after beginning operations to Frankfurt in Germany on November 10th this year.
The Brazilian airline also offers three daily flights to Paris, a daily flight to London and one to Milan.
For more than four years TAM has been the leader in the Brazilian domestic market holding a 49.9 per cent market share and a 73.2 per cent international market share at the end of November 2007.
It serves 81 different cities in the domestic market and maintains code-share agreements with international airlines around the world.
