Bargain Brazil real estate ‘presents investor opportunity’
Now may be the best time to buy Brazilian property as the effects of the global economic recession have created bargains in the market, according to an expert.
Les Calvert, director of Property Abroad, says that buyers may be able to snap up Brazil real estate for a lower price than will be possible again.
He agrees with recent comments by Michael Sutton in an article for Write About Property, stating that Brazilian property prices could double over the next five years, in line with the values found in the world’s biggest economies.
"Brazil is not faring as well as it should be economically, and this depressed environment may present an opportunity for property investors," Mr Calvert says.
Meanwhile, Steve Worboys recently said that increasing numbers of buyers are realising the potential of property in Brazil.
He stated that the government’s continuing investment in the country’s tourism industry will benefit investors, while rental income is predicted to rise in the coming years.
