Brazil ads shown worldwide
People considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the nation’s ministry of tourism has launched a campaign to promote the country as a tourist destination, it has been reported.
The Sensational Brazil campaign aims to highlight the nation’s diversity, according to Brazzil Magazine.
A TV promotion will be aired in 12 countries worldwide including Argentina, US, Portugal, Italy and Uruguay.
Tourism minister Luiz Barretto told the publication: "It shows the Brazilian diversity – a country that has several doors open.
"It is a country that presents several options for tourists to learn about the natural beauties, diversified culture and cuisine."
Mr Barreto added that President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is behind the tourism programme.
It was reported by the Brazil Arab News Agency last week that investment by Brazilian state-owned companies has reached its highest levels for 13 years.
According to the news agency, Brazilian firms were "sailing on calm waters" during the first eight months of this year while the world’s economy was hit by the credit crunch.
