Brazil has ‘most dynamic growth potential’ for investors

Brazil has the "most-dynamic" growth potential for property investors, one expert has said at a property investment event in the US.

Kellie Maske, an economist with FedEx, made the comments at last week’s fifth annual Commercial Property Forecast Summit in Memphis.

She said the Latin American nation had a "brick and mortar" economy and advised property investors to turn their attention towards the country.

Kellie also offered her opinions on the global economy and Brazilian property that is currently for sale.

The summit was hosted by the Memphis Area Association of Realtors’ Commercial Council at the East Memphis Hilton and aimed to bring experts in the field together to discuss the current property climate.

Brazil’s international profile has been boosted recently after sporting hero David Beckham announced his intention to open a football academy in the Latin American nation.

The midfielder invested in a site located in the north-east of Brazil, where some experts say property prices have increased in value by more than 20 per cent over the last five years.
