Brazil property: Giving full medical details ‘critical’ for travel cover

An expert has advised investors in Brazilian property that they must make sure they divulge their full medical history when seeking travel insurance for journeys to the country.

Staysure.co.uk advised that it is "critical" that everyone, particularly elderly passengers, divulge important information to their provider, to make sure that they are protected for the cost of treatment if they suffer any accidents and illnesses while abroad.

Bob Atkinson, travel analyst at travelsupermarket.com, said booking the lowest-price deal is not always wise for travellers, although searching for the cheapest option for the type of holiday they have decided on is "a savvy thing to do".
