Brazil is example, says King Abdullah II
Brazilian property investors could be interested to hear the King of Jordan has claimed that the nation is a leading example, it has been reported.
Abdullah II told a lunch held in his honour by President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva that the Arab countries regard Brazil as a leading country and a template for success, according to the Brazil Arab News Agency.
"Brazil provides an example of regional cooperation and peaceful coexistence. Its multicultural society is an example. Its Arab community is the largest in Latin America and one of the largest in the world. This conveys a message to my region," King Abdullah explained.
President Lula had told delegates earlier in the day that Arab and Jewish communities maintain friendly relations within the nation and he hopes this is reflected in the world one day.
Brazzil Magazine reports that Eugenio Stefanello, of the National Food Supply Company, claims the strong dollar is a silver lining for the nation’s agriculture sector.
