Brazil property owners to be given World Cup boost?
Brazilian property investors could be set to benefit from the World Cup as one expert has predicted that it will attract hoards of tourists to the country.
Laura Rendell-Dunn, spokesperson for Journey Latin America, said that when the country hosts the international football competition in 2014, it will be a "massive event".
"It is a perfect opportunity to get out to Brazil and do some travelling around or combine it with a beach holiday and look at the sights the country has to offer," she suggested.
Ms Rendell-Dunn added that holidaymakers looking for beautiful weather should head to the north-east, as temperatures remain at between 25 and 30 degrees C all year round.
However, Brazil is a great place to travel at any time of the year, she insisted.
Figures from the Brazilian tourist board show that the majority of tourists visit in January, February and March, which are the country’s summer months.
