"This award confirms the vision and purpose of Embraer of becoming one of the world’s primary manufacturers of executive jets, offering innovative and high technology products to the market."
Over 730 participants were competing in the awards this year, which support all phases of the innovation process, from laboratory research to the development of markets for innovative products.
Finep’s superintendent of institutional relations, Carlos Ganem, called the accolade the "Oscar of innovation", adding that "with this trophy, the agency recognises the good ideas that give structure to the knowledge community."
