Brazilian land plots could be a ‘lucrative trend’
Buying a land plot in Brazil could be a lucrative move despite the current economic downturn, according to an industry expert.
Emerging Real Estate claimed that clients can buy a Brazilian property land plot and receive a 16 per cent return over two years.
Tim Morgan, managing director of the firm, said that options such as land plots with a low entry cost could be the perfect choice for property investors.
"There is no doubt that the global economy is playing a big part in how people invest. The high price of property and adverse credit conditions across the globe mean that many investors are re-analysing their strategies and are less likely to layout large capital sums," he added.
One location outlined by Mr Morgan is Cocoa Beach, on the Brazilian coast, which is set on golden sands and will allow investors to reap the benefits of short-term capital gain before deciding whether to sell the land or set up their dream holiday home.
Chances to invest in Brazilian property are set to grow over coming years with the announcement by the government that up to one million new houses are going to be built.
