Brazilian model Gisele ‘honeymoons in hometown’
Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen has flown to her native country to spend her honeymoon with new husband Tom Brady, it is reported.
The couple have travelled to her hometown of Horizontina in southern Brazil so that Tom can meet the rest of Gisele’s family, local media say.
According to the Zero Hora newspaper, the newlyweds are also attending the 83rd birthday celebrations of Gisele’s grandfather, where the New England Patriot’s star will also meet his wife’s sisters, aunts and uncles.
Gisele and Tom were spotted sightseeing and visiting the gym in the small town.
The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in California last month.
Other famous visitors to have flown into Brazil recently are the Prince of Wales and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The royal pair travelled to the country as part of a tour of Latin America during which Prince Charles has been highlighting the importance of the environment and warning business leaders about the dangers of climate change.
