Brazilian property could be ideal for adventurous teachers
People who have their eyes set on teaching abroad might want to invest in Brazilian property.
A guide written on Shelter Offshore said that teachers are never too old to try a new life abroad, with jobs being taken around the world by people of all ages and from all walks of life.
"Despite what many people may think, it’s not always fresh-faced graduate teachers who head abroad for jobs and life-changing experiences. More and more pre and even post-retirement teachers and school leaders are grabbing fixed-term international school contracts to finish off their teaching days with a flourish," it stated.
Andrew Wigford, director of Teachers International Consultancy, which specialises in recruiting professionals for schools, added that English-speaking lecturers with good experience are especially highly valued.
Furthermore, teachers who invest in Brazilian property will be able to benefit from the life of an expatriate, with Shelter Offshore recently stating that good weather, new cultures and a change in attitude are just some of the highlights of moving abroad.
