Brazilian property investor praises country’s friendliness
A Brazilian property investor has praised the uniqueness of the country and said that he is "so excited" to be living there.
Michael Rubin, an American who now lives in Curitiba, said that even the singing birds appear happy, unable to control their wonderment at the joys of Brazil.
"Everyone in Brazil, including the birds, is having too much fun to sleep. Like other Latin American cultures, Brazil breathes in an ancient mythology; the living customs of the oral tradition. Brazilians love to talk," he added.
Mr Rubin commented that Brazilian people are really friendly and it is considered rude for one to enter a room without speaking or announcing ‘hello’ even to strangers.
In comparing his new home to the US, Mr Rubin said that everyone is more patient in Brazil, with people having more time for others.
The beach culture in Brazil leads to a feeling of relaxation, while the nice weather also leads to a holiday atmosphere in coastal locations.
