Brazilian property investors are ‘offered good value’
Buying Brazilian property will provide investors with a "great place for some winter sun", according to an expert.
Tom Hall, travel editor at Lonely Planet, said that Brazil is a huge country and offers plenty of variety to people looking at travelling to South America.
"There’s obviously the city of Rio de Janeiro, which is probably the one thing that everybody thinks about. Sao Paulo’s reputation as a cultural hot spot is growing seemingly by the month. [It] has fantastic night life and dining, wonderful museums and a really exciting feel to it," he added.
Mr Hall also commented that the country has a number of tropical islands which Brazilian property owners could visit, such as Fernando de Noronha, which offers magnificent beaches and a great destination for diving.
His words come after a report by CompaniesandMarkets.com which said that the decision to award Brazil with the 2016 Olympic Games had been a positive development for the country.
