Brazilian property ‘is a passport to luxury destinations’
People buying property in Brazil or travelling to South America will experience "luxury destinations offering an unforgettable vacation", an expert has claimed.
Daniela Schuh, founder of Real Brazil Travel, said that with 395 miles of stunning coastlines, the state of Rio de Janeiro is a "top destination".
"Today’s traveller is seeking solitude, escape and something that feels authentic. They want to connect with locals, sample the native cuisine and interact with nature. Areas just outside the city of Rio de Janeiro combine all of that," she added.
Ms Schuh recommended that Brazilian property owners should take a trip to Buzios, only two hours from Rio, to visit some of the 20 beaches which offer visitors historical, cultural and ecotourism tours.
Angra dos Reis is another destination just outside of Rio which offers something for property owners in Brazil, with its 365 islands, one for each day of the year.
Its clear waters, coral and colourful fish provide ideal conditions for diving, while the wreckage of a Panamanian freighter also gives a great feature to explore.
