Brazilian property market offers ‘hot opportunity’
The Brazilian property market is a "hot" opportunity for investors at the moment because the country is booming, according to an expert.
Samantha Gore, sales manager at uv10, says the expansion of the middle classes, which have increased by seven million people in the last few years, means there is "massive new buying power" in Brazil.
"You’ve got this domestic tourism boom, so it’s not dependent on Europe and the US, areas which are suffering at the moment," she states.
Ms Gore adds that more people are taking holidays in Brazil, so tourism is also flourishing.
She says more Brazilians have money these days, offering a great opportunity for Europeans to take advantage of this wealth.
Recently, Laura Rendell-Dunn, marketing manager at Journey Latin America, said business is thriving in the country because people have confidence in the economy and are spending plenty of money.
She added that the lower cost of living in Brazil attracts investors to the country.
