Brazilian property market ’set for superlative growth’

The residential property market in Brazil is set for 'superlative' growth in the coming years as the country's economic expansion continues, one analyst has predicted.

A new report by the market research consultant RNCOS suggests that a combination of the pace of population growth and the nation's economic trajectory will lead to the formation of 1.3 million new homes a year by 2014.

The study, entitled Brazil Housing Sector Analysis, suggests that the Brazilian property market has emerged as the most vibrant and dynamic areas of the global real estate industry, with the entry of numerous developers in recent times.

"With the availability of finance options and increasing demand for residential property, the housing industry has witnessed stupendous growth," the analyst notes.

It added that the abundance of natural resources and stable political environment are among the factors driving demand for real estate in the country, and this is set to continue in the coming years.
