Brazilian property ‘not yet truly discovered by investors’
The Brazilian property market provides a solid investment opportunity at the moment, particularly in the state of Minas Gerais, according to one company.
Brazil real estate company Souza Tassini asserts that this area is "not yet truly discovered by global property investors".
The company explains that the introduction of the thirty-year mortgage has opened up the market for property in Brazil generally, not just in Minas Gerais and its capital, Belo Horizonte.
Increased availability of financing has helped to increased Brazilian property values as the country has developed into a "burgeoning ownership society", according to the real estate enterprise.
Luiz Tassini, proprietor of the firm, says that he expects a "storm of foreign investment funds" to hit the Minas Gerais real estate market.
Meanwhile, US property bosses recently told Bloomberg that Brazil real estate has "tremendous potential" and have expressed their interest in expanding into the region as record low interest rates help to accelerate economic growth in the South American country.
