Brazilian property offers “good short term investment”
Investors should consider Brazilian property as a "good" opportunity in the short term, according to experts.
Jonathan O’Shaughnessy, director of marketing for Emerginvest, says: "It appears that leading emerging markets such as China, India, and Brazil seem like good investment decisions in the short term, even if their exorbitant growth is not prolonged."
According to the company’s figures, Brazil’s economic market posted returns of 13 per cent in the last quarter compared to the US’s 4.87 per cent decline and O’Shaughnessy describes the country as one of the "poster-children of the emerging markets".
He adds that these countries have posted "phenomenal" growth recently and while experts are unable to predict how long this will last, they offer a better opportunity than developed markets, which are expected to produce little or no expansion in the next year.
Recently, Tom Falcao, general manager of the Brazilian Embassy’s Tourist Office, also said the country offers a good potential for property investment.
