Brazilian property tipped by investment experts
A resurgent economy and the prospect of world sporting events is making Brazilian property a "serious second home" and investment opportunity, according to an expert.
Mark Hughes-Morgan, writing for the Daily Mail, said that the upcoming Olympic Games in 2016 and football World Cup in 2014 are making the South American country a popular choice.
Alexander Wasastjerna, senior partner at PropertyBrazil.com, told the newspaper that he believes Brazilian property is still undervalued and future returns of ten per cent could be gained over the next five years.
"Besides being an extremely beautiful country with its beaches and great climate, the country’s emerging middle class makes a very stable platform for rental," he added.
The Natal area of Brazil, on the north-western tip of the country, offers an ideal location for property investment, as it has impressive golden beaches and a reputation as being the ‘city of the sun’.
It is also an ideal location for shopping and eating out, with plenty of restaurants giving stunning seaside views.
